Street Hero Relations Excelling of Late

4 June 2010

Street Hero (pictured), MAKYBE's exciting young shuttle stallion has a pedigree second to none with exceptional racehorses from both hemispheres on both sides of his pedigree.

Take his sire, Street Cry. He recently sired his 11th Group/Grade 1 winner worldwide with the win of 5yo Victor's Cry in the Shoemaker Mile at Hollywood Park last Monday.

Street Cry has been a global phenomenon, with undefeated glamour mare Zenyatta in the US and his southern hemisphere-bred Group 1 - winning four year old Whobegotyou and Shocking.

Street Cry also has two smart sons racing at Flemington tomorrow, namely, Kallogg and Liveandletdie. Kallogg is a winner of four from ten and placed on three occasions. Liveandletdie is a new horse on the scene and the two year old couldn't have been more impressive on debut at the provincials. Raced by Laurence Eales owner of Whobegotyou and Shocking it looks like Laurence has unearthed another gem from the sire line.

Next Saturday Whobegotyou will tackle the Gr 1 Stradbroke Handicap as deserving favourite after a sizzling run from the tail of the field to take second place in the Gr 1 Doomben 10,000.

Street Hero also received a recent update to his pedigree on his female side with the recent Caulfield winner Dubleanny, winner of four of her six starts with $149,000 in prize money.

Trained by Mick Price, Dubleanny is headed for stakes company in the Listed Creswick Stakes and Mick believes she will be a smart four-year-old.

Street Hero's maternal grand dam Glimmer Glass is half sister to Dubleanny's third dam. Both Street Hero and Dubleanny share the ancestress Glass of Fashion. She is inbred two x three to Lavendula. Lavendula is the dam of Source Sucree (the dam of Turn To from the great Halo and Roberto sirelines) and is the grand dam of champion two year old in England and successful sire My Babu. This is the family of November Rain, the dominant filly of her year winning the VRC, AJC and Queensland Oaks.

Apart from his exquisite blood lines, Street Hero himself performed at the elite level winning the Grade One Norfolk Stakes (pictured) at two and placed on two other occasions at Grade One level including the richest two year old race in America, the BC Juvenile.  Street Hero beat the highest rated two year old in America, Midshipman in his Grade one victory and was ranked the fourth highest rated two year of his generation.

Street Hero stands at MAKYBE for $12,000 ex GST. For bookings please call Andrew Augustine on 0403 655 704.
