Considering his ability, it's hard to believe the seven-year-old Racing To Win has made just the 26 starts. Injuries however have restricted the grey son of Encosta de Lago's career but he showed he retained plenty of dash with a second win in the Theo Marks Stakes (Gr 2) at Rosehill.
Given a patient ride by Hugh Bowman, Racing To Win was some seven lengths off the lead at halfway but he crept closer as the field turned for home and when Bowman asked him to lengthen in the straight he ran to Triple Honour (Honours List) to strike the front inside the final 100m and win going away. Rock Kingdom (Rock Of Gibraltar) stayed on well late on to take second ahead of Triple Honour. Mr Baritone (Stravinsky)ran an honest race for fourth.
