It was an outstanding result for MAKYBE in Sydney at the Australian Easter Yearling Sales this year. On a high after Slipper day with the brilliant run of MAKYBE owned Headway in the Golden Slipper and MAKYBE bred Musket turning in a brilliant Doncaster trial, MAKYBE had two huge days selling its select crop of yearlings at Newmarket. There was cause for celebrations with MAKYBE leading vendor on average, selling eight yearlings at an average of $541,875. This continues on from the trend this season after being named the leading vendor at the Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale and current breeder of the year in Victoria. MAKYBE has come a long way in a short time and it is certainly an exciting place to be. It is a huge achievement for a stud that has only been selling horses under its own name for a couple of seasons.
