Unfair Dismissal

With the two-year-old season fast coming to a close, it was fantastic to see the MAKYBE colours salute with Unfair Dismissal picking up the listed Oaklands Plate (1400m) at Morphetville on Saturday, July 21st.

Trained by Tony McEvoy, who has had a fantastic year with his band of juveniles, Unfair Dismissal can now boast three wins and two placings as a two-year-old, and McEvoy predicts a promising future for the All Too Hard colt. McEvoy gave him four weeks between outings this time around and the colt proved too strong for the quality field that included Poised To Strike, the highly rated David Hayes-trained runner.

Bred by Gerry Harvey’s Baramul Stud, Unfair Dismissal is the fifth stakes winner for the Vinery Stud-based stallion, All Too Hard – a four-time Group One winning half-brother to Black Caviar.

No doubt Unfair Dismissal will be aimed at some of the more notable races this coming spring, and hopefully we can get a repeat result.
