Walk On Requirements
We would like to outline our requirements for all walk on mares:
- A signed Nomination Agreement.
- A FINAL 48HR clitoral swab negative for Pseudomonas and Klebsiella prior to the first covering. Dry mares be taken at first reproduction examination and wet mares at foal heat examination.
- A FINAL 48hr clean uterine / cervical swab which is also negative for Pseudomonas and Klebsiella, prior to the first cover and any subsequent heat period in which the mare is to be covered.
- All visiting mares must be accompanied by their Document of Description. It would be appreciated if a copy of the DOD could be faxed to our office
- All visiting mares & foals should be free from contact with Strangles;
and - Any Rotavirus/Scours or any other ongoing ailments that mares/foals have should be brought to our attention prior to them visiting MAKYBE.
Additionally, please note:
- Please advise MAKYBE of both early and 45-day scan results.
